Milo (right) and Mojo have just arrived and were settled into the doggy suite. An outer security screen door allows for fresh air when weather permits. The door leads to the back yard and to the swimming pool. |
Some dog like to "den" so crates are set up cozy with blankets, and covered for extra security. The doors to the crates are left open. Milo and Mojo preferred the large bed on the floor, thick and covered with a warm afghan. Toys are everywhere, strewn about the room. |
Winnie really likes to have people around her, so we board her in our kitchen. We usually do this for small dogs boarding alone. Just up from a nap, she likes to borough under the fleece blanket |

| Initially, a gate separates the dogs boarding in the kitchen from the rest of the house. Since Winnie has been here before, and is comfortable, she was ready following her first night to join the family and my own dogs. | She quickly found herself a bed in the corner of the Living Room close by me while I was working on the computer. | After her nap Winnie decides she'd like to share the couch with my dog Toby. |

| Trixie loves to sit in the breakfast nook, her favorite spot in the house. She enjoyed playing with her friend Max during the Thanksgiving holiday. She and Max had boarded at the same time once before and remembered each other right away. | A little more relaxed, but she still sits hugging the corner of the breakfast nook. She's really not shy until I get the camera out. | This is Charlie, a real gentle giant. He boarded in the doggy suite, but enjoyed playtime in the yard with my dogs. |

| Billie Jean (in back) is one of my own. She and Hank are friends. Hank boards in the kitchen with brother Max. | Hank enjoys playing with my cat Zeke. For some reason Hank & brother Max like to stand on my kitchen table. I'll bet they don't do that at home. | Sugar (left) who also boards in the kitchen, likes to play with Billie Jean. They were "jailed" briefly while I was washing the kitchen floor for insisting on chasing the mop. |

| This is Max. He and Hank come here a lot, and love to stand on the kitchen table. My nickname for Max is "Sir Barksalot", and he certainly does. | The back yard is where all the action happens during outdoor play time. It is completely safe and enclosed by block walls. It is far away from the front of the house and cannot be even seen from the street in front. There are no streets or properties in back, so our yard is extremely safe and secure. I tried to take a photo that included the dogs playing, but they kept running up close to me so I couldn't get them in the shot. They were very uncooperative. | This is our full sized swimming pool. A cement wall and iron mesh gate separate it from the play yard so it is safe. Swimming dogs are invited into the pool under supervision. The owners are poolside much of the Summer, and all the dogs love to lounge around it with us. They often enjoy sharing a barbequed hot dog or two. We love swimming with the dogs! Watch for photos coming this Summer! |
